Austin Video Bee Fundraiser Barbeque

"Austin Video Bee is a multimedia women's collective based in Austin, Texas. AVB strives to provide opportunities and exposure for under-represented/female video and performance artists. The collective seeks to promote experimental and innovative pieces and to be an integral part of the vital Austin arts community. The group focuses on inexpensive and accessible theme-based compilations of individual works on DVD, as well as screenings and festivals that serve to promote the work to everyone, artists and non-artists alike. Featuring: Elizabeth Abrams, Anna Krachey, Rell Ohlson, Jill Pangallo, Corkey Sinks, Laura Turner, Kate Watson and Lee Webster."

The fundraiser tomorrow at MASS Gallery (916 Springdale, 3-7 PM) will feature Ruby's barbeque, Sparks caffeinated malt liquor, a DJ, and more, all for a pay-what-you-wish donation.
