Congratulations to Katrina Moorhead, recipient of the second $30,000 Texas Prize from Arthouse. Her RedGreenBluePeony, pictured above, doesn't look like much until you read the list of materials used and realize that everything is painstakingly constructed from scratch - the corrugated cardboard is made from paper; the graphics and text on the fireworks are drawn and painted by hand.
